Broccoli is grown in Norway as well, but in the winter, it has to be imported from other countries. Despite its name, it is not related to asparagus – it is one of many sub-species of cabbage, and its closest relative is cauliflower. Broccoli is rich in iron, A- and B-vitamins, and has twice the amount of C-vitamin as oranges! In addition, it is filled with antioxidants. The stem of the broccoli is the sweetest part and also very nutritious. Just peel it and eat it!
